The On and Off vehicle for Iggy Pop and his nihilistic pre-punk band the Stooges. I got into them with their second album 'Raw Power' and I think this was their second iteration in the early/mid 70s after they were founded and broke up in the late 60s.
At this time they were working with David Bowie who delilvered a polish that they previously lacked.
Stand out tracks are:
From 1969 'I wanna be your Dog'
'The Passenger' believe this may feature David Bowie
'Lust for Life' - this is the Trainspotting Remix
